The following positions are currently available at MCM Sales & Service

MCM Sales & Service is South West Victoria’s largest STIHL, John Deere, Royal Enfield & Suzuki Dealership, located 3 hours south west of Melbourne along the Great Ocean Road.

We currently have a position available for a Qualified Motorcycle Mechanic. 

We are looking to employ as part of our team a Qualified Motorcycle Mechanic, preferably with Classic Harley Davidson Motorcycle Experience. 

Are you looking to be recognised & rewarded for your experience, your remuneration will be negotiated to reflect your experience. 

What you’ll be doing

  • Performing scheduled maintenance and inspections on motorcycles and OPE
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and technical issues
  • Keeping detailed records of work completed
  • Supervising role for our Apprentice
  • Maintaining a safe working environment and following all safety protocols

What we’re looking for

  • Formal qualifications in Motorcycle Mechanics or relevant trade experience
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Confident using computers and will be required to engage in customer service and occasional sales support as part of the role
  • A passion for motorcycles and a desire to provide exceptional service

Sales / Parts Advisor
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales / Parts Advisor to join our dynamic team at our well-established outdoor power equipment and motorcycle dealership in Warrnambool. If you have a passion for motorcycles, mowers, and machinery – and enjoy helping customers find the right gear or parts – this is the role for you!

About the Role

In this hands-on role, you’ll be a key contact point for customers – in-store, online, and over the phone – assisting with sales, spare parts, and product advice. You’ll be responsible for creating a positive customer experience, from initial enquiry through to after-sales support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, SMS, and in person
  • Accurately record customer information and parts/service requirements in our Dealer Management System
  • Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct parts, accessories, and equipment
  • Process transactions and prepare quotes and invoices
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through expert product knowledge and service
  • Follow up on quotes, orders, and backorders to ensure timely communication
  • Assist in stock control, including reordering, receiving, and stocktaking
  • Help maintain showroom and parts displays to a high standard
  • Support the sales team during peak periods or events

What We’re Looking For

  • A passion for motorcycles, outdoor power equipment, or related machinery
  • Proven experience in retail sales or parts interpreting (motorcycle or power equipment industries desirable)
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • A professional, friendly manner with strong attention to detail
  • Good mechanical knowledge or interest in learning about technical products
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable using computer systems, point-of-sale software, and parts catalogues
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the role
