MCM Sales & Service is South West Victoria’s largest STIHL, John Deere, Royal Enfield and Suzuki dealership, located in Warrnambool, just three hours south-west of Melbourne along the Great Ocean Road.

We’re looking for a Qualified Motorcycle Mechanic and/or experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mechanic who takes pride in their work and may be ready to take the next step in their career into a workshop leadership role.

We’re looking for a capable all-rounder who enjoys getting hands-on in the workshop, solving problems and working as part of a team. Whether you’re an experienced mechanic looking for a new challenge or someone ready to step into a supervisory position, we’d love to hear from you.

Harley-Davidson experience, particularly with classic models, is a bonus but not essential.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Performing scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs on motorcycles and outdoor power equipment (OPE).
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical and technical issues.
• Carrying out repairs and maintenance to a high standard of workmanship.
• Maintaining accurate service records and workshop documentation.
• Supporting, mentoring and supervising our apprentice.
• Potentially overseeing the day-to-day running of the workshop, coordinating jobs and supporting the workshop team.
• Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient working environment.
• Assisting with customer enquiries and occasional sales support when required.

What We’re Looking For

• Formal qualifications in Motorcycle Mechanics or relevant mechanical trade experience.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to turn your hand to a variety of tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Confidence using computers and workshop management systems.
• A willingness to support and mentor an apprentice.
• For applicants interested in the Workshop Supervisor role, leadership skills, initiative and the ability to organise workflow and support a team.
• A genuine passion for motorcycles and delivering great customer service.
